Evenly distributes object copies along a path

Draw the object

Draw the path

Home tab > Modify panel > Path Array

Select object, press Enter

Pick a point near the object to select the path curve

Object copies array along the path

Zoom in to the base of the object
The base not tangent to the path

Properties panel > Tangent Direction

Pick the shortest distance of the base

Now the base tangent to the path

Properties panel > Measure / Associative

Items panel > Between: 1000

The array based on the measurement of 1000

Properties panel > Divide

Items panel > Items 10

Object copies array along the path based on the number of objects
